For many of us, the smell of a fresh-cut tree is synonymous with Christmas. Oregonians are lucky to have so many Christmas tree farms accessible to anyone wanting a lovely fir tree to bring home and decorate. Salem and throughout Marion County have many Christmas tree farms, some offering wholesale trees, others allowing people to buy pre-cut or cut their own from the tree farm.
All tree farms listed here are retail operations that welcome customers. Be sure to read carefully – some of the smaller farms are U-cut only, and others would rather not have to cut their own. Christmas tree farms also tend to do most of their business on the weekends, so some are not open on weekdays at all. Here is the 2023 guide to Christmas tree farms near Salem and throughout Marion County.
