Every Saturday from now until March, Wavra Farms and Nursery will open its doors from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. for their Indoor Farmer’s Market all winter long. For the cold season, the farm’s nursery has been transformed to house over 30 vendors for the weekly event. Visitors can expect to find an extensive selection of unique gifts that are perfect for the holidays, including jewelry, crafts, pottery, plants, coffee, baked goods, and more! Offering an awe-inspiring light display and market for holiday shoppers is Oregon Garden Resort for their Silverton Christmas Market. Business meets community at the ShowBiz Salem Holiday Expo, where over 100 exhibitors will put their products on display all under one roof at the Jackman-Long Building, otherwise known as the Oregon State Fair and Expo Center. While browsing the booths, visitors will get a chance to learn about local businesses and non-profits from these vendors, as they’re happy to answer any questions they may have and will be demonstrating their products and services.
Along with the assortment of giftware, crafts, and art, a variety of sample tables from specialty food providers, local restaurants, wineries, breweries, and distilleries will also be on-site, in addition to live entertainment. This is one one-stop shopping extravaganza you won’t want to miss, and it is only being held on November 18 and 19, so mark your calendars!
Holiday Night Market

Willamette Heritage Center will be hosting World Beat’s inaugural Holiday Night Market the night of November 18, starting at 1 p.m. and running until 9. The night of holiday cheer will be filled with live music, food and drink, and many cultural vendors offering a chance to grab some amazing Christmas gifts that represent different cultures from around the globe.
Illahe Vineyards Thanksgiving Weekend Open House and Local Holiday Gift Faire Friday
3275 Ballard Road, Dallas
Shopping comes with a glass of wine at Illahe Vineyards for their Thanksgiving Weekend Open House and Local Holiday Gift Faire Friday, starting November 24 and running through November 26. Patrons are invited to come celebrate the holiday season with friends and family as they taste through a flight of limited estate pinot noirs, white, and sparkling wines paired with light nibbles. The tasting fee itself is only $20 per person but is refunded with a $100 purchase, and there’ll be plenty of local artisans to tempt you with spending just that.
As an added bonus to the taste testing, there will be several crafts makers displaying and selling their work in the winery to help you check those thoughtful gifts off your list. And, after all, aren’t the best gifts always purchased with a glass of wine?

Wetzel Estate will host its annual Holiday Market this upcoming Thanksgiving weekend from November 24 through 25. While doing so, they’ll support ten fantastic, local small businesses, artisans, crafters, and creators that the estate will host. The Countryside Christian Church Women’s Community is proud to present its annual Holiday Bazaar on December 2, starting at 9 a.m. and running until 3 p.m. Many local vendors will offer a wide assortment of items at the event, providing ample opportunity for holiday shoppers to grab those finishing touches and stocking stuffers for Christmas gifts. Afterward, stop on over at their bake sale, where all proceeds from the sale will go to supporting the Women’s Community Ministry at Countryside.
